Description
La « Prière du coeur » est un exercice spirituel d'origine orthodoxe. Elle est connue grâce au fameux « Récits d'un pèlerin russe », chef-d'oeuvre de littérature mystique. Elle consiste essentiellement dans la récitation litanique d'une simple phrase : « Jésus, fils du Dieu vivant, aie pitié de moi, pécheur », qui met en communion avec Dieu l'esprit, le coeur et le corps. L'auteur initie à cette forme originale d'oraison, fondée sur le rythme de la respiration, moyen d'union perpétuelle à Dieu par lequel l'homme retrouve son unité au coeur de notre monde moderne fragmenté.
